Two Lights, Two Friends, One Vision

Hot Beam wasn’t born in a boardroom with investors. It started because two best friends, Beau Davis and Daniel Mankin, wanted to stop treating stage production like a checklist and start treating it like an art form. We were tired of seeing the same copy and paste setups at almost every show we attended. We wanted a way to express our own creativity by making every show feel like a tailored experience, designed specifically for that one event and no other.

We literally started this company with just two moving heads, two speakers, and a perseverance to grow this into something that makes us unique. We built Hot Beam from nothing to something. So can say brick by brick just from that that tiny rig. Starting small taught us that great production isn’t just about having the most gear, but making something that people will remember and carry for the rest of their lives. We took a great amount of money from our own pockets, to create a High School graduation party that people would talk about for years.

We do this because we truly love what we do. We want to create those "you had to be there" moments that people remember and immediately want to show their friends. That’s why the same team that plans your project is the same team that runs your show. We take ownership of every detail from the first equipment prep to the final execution. Some people ask why, because we want the result to be as perfect as you do.

We’re still those same two guys who love being behind the console; we just have a lot more than two lights now and a team that is hand selected that also has the same professional passion we do.
